GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Provide technical support to the Sales Support Team, provide technical support to costumers and provide support to IC costumers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Technical support:

  • Provide technical support on parts and drawings
  • Provide support on installed base of older machines
  • Work out recommended spare part lists
  • Together with AM team lead and purchasing developing models and analysing offers to determine “to-win” pricing / lead times
  • Calculate and create quotations based on request from the differ segments like parts and service with help of SAP system

2. Sales:

  • Uncover potential within AM
  • Approach new and existing customers in cooperation with responsible salespersons
  • Travel with ASM’s to support the AM activities in their area
  • Implement customer frame agreements in SAP
  • Work closely together with Service ensuring “one stop shop” for customers

3. Claims:

  • Support to aftermarket in handling claims
  • Support QC in commercial aspect of Quality deviations
  • Claim handling in cooperation with the responsible persons
  • Review of inquiries to avoid double work with other Andritz FB base or overlapping


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical area.
  • Technical knowledge / Machinery & engineering skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and German
  • Proficiency with computers, especially SAP and MS Office 
  • Experience in related field (technical support, aftermarket and sales)
  • Industrial Sector: Specific Industry Know How (by education and /or experience)
  •  Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals
  • Availability for travels and residence in other regions.
